I am ready to help you live a calmer, more peaceful life.

I found the life-changing magic of decluttering and organizing—and I studied under Marie Kondo and her team to be prepared to help clients across the Research Triangle area live better lives at home.

MY JOURNEY TO BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER

I am a proud mom to two great kids, and I am lucky to be married to my wonderful husband Neil for over 20 years. I am from El Paso, TX but I have lived in cities across the globe—have you met anyone who has lived in both Iowa and Germany? I have! After many moves, I happily now call Raleigh home.

I have always loved organizing and creating beauty by simplifying and editing spaces. I used to organize my mom's Tupperware every chance I had, and I spent many weekends organizing my room and re-organizing it. Growing up we moved a lot...15 times in 20 years! Moving so often forces you to go through belongings often, and I became an expert at editing (or, at least I thought I was!) One day, I picked up Marie Kondo's book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, by chance. I read the book from cover-to-cover and applied the method to my life.

I discovered something that surprised me—
I was not as organized as I thought.

I had plenty of areas in my home that I was holding onto things—not because I liked them, but because I thought I “had” to keep them. One of my biggest takeaways from tidying my own home was discovering my own style and becoming efficient at making decisions about what I like and don't like. What a relief to discover these things!!

While organizing, I discovered a small piece of paper where I had written out career ideas while in college. On this list I had written “professional organizer.'“ I quickly ran to the computer and looked up Marie's website—and I discovered that she trained and certified people to become organizers in her KonMari Method™. Sign me up! I knew this was the path my life was meant to take—where I could combine my love of organizing and knowledge of Marie’s method, and genuinely help other people like me.

Busy women, carpooling moms, or just any person whose space isn’t what they need it to be—I can help turn your home into a true sanctuary.

I am a good listener, compassionate yet firm, efficient, confident, and truly—I have killer people skills!! I have been told I make people feel comfortable when I am in their space—which is the best compliment I could ask for. (Also—I promise we will have fun while we’re getting you organized.)

In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my family, practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with an amazing tribe of women. I love tacos and sharing them with the people I love. If you’re really nice to me—maybe I will even share them with you! :)

You are busy with all of the things that life is throwing at you. I would love to teach you how to get organized—and most importantly, STAY organized.
